A not inconsiderable proportion of our new customers outside the Höchst Industrial Park is now through recommendations its way to us.
Which products are most in demand?
S.Westenberger: Since our clients are not only derived from the chemical and Pharma Segment frequently requested packaging to look for specific target groups. In chemical and pharmaceutical industries are here certainly IBCs and drums, the products most requested product. Our customers include hospitals, the leather industry and waste management companies, representing, among others, for the disposal containers, buckets, cans, foil, bags, big bags, key products for your daily needs.
Especially our full range often becomes the basis for a purchase decision. The customer receives not just the right bottle for its product, but also the necessary complementary items such as hazardous material cardboard, adhesive tape and filling and absorbent.
What about the general delivery?
S.Westenberger: For chemfidence as procurement coordinator supply security and flexibility in customer loyalty and customer acquisition is of high importance. Our stock levels are continuously monitored a computerized system, the entire pool manufacturer guarantee short-term delivery, even on weekends. Most of the manufacturers are already involved in upstream planning stages to here to be able to control production capacities in time sense.
In addition, we are in close contact with the purchasing departments of large customers. Using Forecast messages are identified early needs and built stocks accordingly. Of course, we have at our core range always over several selected suppliers for a packing material.
Security of supply through delivery of goods right up to the manufacturing plant - just-in-time - how does that work? - Is this service available outside the Höchst Industrial Park?
S.Westenberger: Through our 6,000 m2 central warehouse and other sub-camps, we can guarantee our customers a constant supply security. Together with selected and trained service we deliver - if necessary - to the bottling plant of the customer. Be several times daily delivery routes within the industrial park. Proprietary truck deliver daily just-in-time, our customers outside of the Industrial Park Höchst. In third-party order with selected manufacturers and freight forwarders, we deliver throughout Germany up to the production - partly on the German borders.
Due to the large storage and strategic storage for our customers is possible. We order the required quantities on time before production capacity of packaging material manufacturers have been exhausted in the high season, thus ensuring the production campaign of our customers.
What logistical military value services do you offer in addition?
S.Westenberger: In chemfidence services the customer gets everything from one source. Depending on customer requirements, we pick the packaging on suitable CP and DB pallets or in our own Greater pallets, which reduces and simplifies handling for the customer. In the large central warehouse as needed done the finishing of packaging materials, such as the sleeving of canisters or the labeling of cardboard. Also the assembling to be purchased as individual parts packaging is possible. Upstream incoming goods inspection and quality assurance measures are taken for granted and will be agreed at the request of customers in common as the default.
